This policy covers upstateflightschool.com, operated by Winston Tripp Aviation LLC. It explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, call us at (864) 280-7257 and ask.

What we collect

• What you send us. If you use our contact form or the training estimate tool, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the answers you gave.
• Basic technical information. Our server records the IP address a form was submitted from, as a spam control.
• Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets cookies and collects standard usage data. We do not use it to identify individual people.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you and to plan your training. That is the whole purpose. If you ask for a training estimate, we email you a copy and follow up once to see whether you have questions.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Tell us to stop contacting you and we will, by reply to any email from us or by calling the number above.

Who else touches it

A few services we rely on to run the school will necessarily see some of it:

• Our web host stores form submissions and sends our email.
• Flight Circle handles scheduling, booking, and payment. When you book a discovery flight you are on their site under their terms, and we never see your full card details.
• Google Analytics processes website usage data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our records while there is a reasonable chance you will train with us, and student records are kept as long as we are required to. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless a regulation requires us to keep a training record.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information here. Minors are welcome to fly with us; a parent or guardian handles the paperwork.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@upstateflightschool.com or call (864) 280-7257. Your browser can block cookies, which will stop the analytics.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
